Summer 2 & Academic Year Round Up

2

As we wrap up another remarkable academic year, we’re excited to share the incredible achievements and memorable moments that have defined our journey at The Greenhouse HyFlex Academy. Our Summer 2 Round Up newsletter captures the essence of what makes our educational community so special.

Our annual Sports Day was a true celebration of community spirit, bringing together students, staff, families, and carers for a day filled with joy, competition, and mutual support. From the Giant Egg & Spoon race to Hungry Hippos and inflatable obstacles, the event showcased the power of shared experiences in building connections and creating lasting memories. A huge thank you to our Head of Health and Wellbeing, Nyarie, and all our support staff for making this day truly special.

Art Therapy Day

The academic year concluded beautifully with our popular Art Therapy Day, where students embraced their creative potential and produced stunning artwork. This program continues to demonstrate remarkable results in helping students express themselves and build confidence in social settings. The beautiful pieces created will be proudly displayed around our school, serving as inspiration for the year ahead.

This year marked significant milestones, including the launch of our vocational Hospitality course for 16-19 year olds in collaboration with Cheshire West & Chester, achieving an impressive 100% success rate in securing work experience placements. We’re also proud to have been recognised at the Edufututists awards for our HyFlex Curriculum, following more than 30,000 public votes.

Looking ahead, we’re thrilled to welcome four new team members with expertise in alternative provision, SEND, and SEMH, and we’re introducing the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award to further enrich our student experience..  Here’s to another year of growth, achievement, and creating opportunities for every student to thrive.
