We have some big news to share. The Greenhouse Learning and Development has officially been accepted onto the Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers, known as the APAR, as an Apprenticeship Main Provider.
As the new financial year begins and many organisations are looking at new plans and strategies, this milestone provides a timely opportunity to help with skilling your staff. Being accepted onto the APAR follows a thorough process of due diligence, involving a detailed review of the quality of our training, how we deliver it, and the ongoing support we provide to every learner we work with.
What this means in practice For the organisations and commissioners we work with, this opens up an important new door for professional development in the 2026/27 cycle.
-
Expanding Trusted Programmes: The diplomas and training programmes that partners already know and trust from The Greenhouse can now be expanded into full apprenticeship frameworks.
-
Leveraging the Levy: You can use your Apprenticeship Levy to fund high-quality training that you have seen work in practice, delivered to the same standard you already expect from us.
-
Strategic Growth: For many organisations, the levy has felt like an underused resource. Working with an Apprenticeship Main Provider you already have a relationship with means you aren’t starting from scratch; you are building on something that already works.
Why it matters for the care and support sector The care and support workforce faces real and sustained pressure. Recruitment is difficult, retention is a constant challenge, and the need for well-trained, confident staff has never been greater. Apprenticeships offer a genuine route to addressing some of that pressure in a structured and sustainable way.
A provider that understands your world The Greenhouse has spent years working closely with care providers, local authorities, and commissioners to deliver training that reflects the real demands of the sector. That understanding is the foundation on which everything we do is built.
If you would like to find out more about how your organisation could use its Apprenticeship Levy to support your new plans and strategies for skilling staff, we would love to have that conversation.
